ÄÖÜ - what kind of editor...
on the other hand: who needs the 235th raw html editor, when we are still missing the first low priced wysiwyg html editor for os x? i'd even pay for an os x product with the capabilities of the long forgotten apps like symantec's visual page or claris' homepage!

Also, if you want a free WYSIWYG editor for OS X, use Mozilla Composer; it does WYSIWYG, WYSIWYM, and source view. However, source editors are much more powerful for the serious web page composer.Monday, October 27 2003 @ 01:33 PM PST
doesn't recognize umlaut - Mengoxon
Taco does recognize umlauts. What is your problem? You know that umlauts should be written ä so that other browsers recognize them (to be inserted through quick insert). And although it is interesting to hear your laments about there not being any cheap graphical editors on Mac (it's true, even Freeway costs $250), it's not really relevant to reviewing Taco, which in my opinion is the ONLY good free HTML text-editor. So if it was the 236th raw html editor, I would still need it.Reply to This
