Existing users, 
I installed Wiretap on MacOSX 10.2.6 with no problems. When I run Wiretap, it records as it should and saves the file on the desktop (my choice).
For simple recording of anything coming out the audio of my G4 tower can now be recorded at any time.
I do recommend that you have an audio editor to get the recorded sound just the way you want.
I give it a hardy thumbs up!
