Least they have a spell checker. The message threading is good (same as mozilla). What seems to be lackluster is the sheer size of the thing. I hope they can 'liposuction' out all the useless stuff. Otherwise there is no real reason to switch from netscape 7.1 or mozilla 1.4 as of yet. One aggravating lack of capability is to be able to check all accounts. This is possible under mozilla/netscape. Just for the hell of it I tried the command-shift-t command that is used in mozilla and it still works though I can't find it on the menu bar anywhere.

There is a downloadable extension (http://texturizer.net/thunderbird/extensions.html) that performs the task of checking all accounts.

Why in the HECK would you want to download that? Thunderbird 0.1 DOES have spell check... as he said it does "Least they have a spell checker."

Also see http://spellchecker.mozdev.org/ for up-to-date Mozilla spell check info (where that extention you point to came from).
