Unfortunately I dont have the power to prevent fonts being used twice. All the actual joining is done by the joinPDF application. I'm not going to try and modify the joinPDF application because my changes probably wouldn't be included in the joinPDF application for some time, and I don't currently want to distribute GPL software since I'm not interested in studying the license as of yet.
