the addition of a meaningful (if brutally short) readme to the updater is a good move.. though first-timers will still wind up working backwards -- getting the updater via the VT link, then discovering the older version is needed, and then having to figure out exactly what respect the updater "updates" anything (it seems to just be a new version of the core app, not really an "updater").. all in all a very awkward approach before one can actually use the app.. also, running the "updater" no longer loads an offensive web page, so i'm improving my rating as appropriate -- this change somewhat improves the documentation and ease of use, and removes a very bad feature, the "tough guy".. i give quality & stability the benefit of a doubt
