i've tested all three major font managers, and would rank FontAgent Pro somewhat higher than Suitcase due to: better interface, font verification built in, good activation, and frequency of improvements (they had the first XPress 6 plug-in)
Suitcase has an edge on speed and reporting features, though i haven't found FA Pro especially slow except for saving the database, which can be done in the background.. others have reported more problems with Suitcase bugs than i saw in my period of testing
Font Reserve has a lousy interface, is full of bugs, has not been updated recently, and is now owned by Extensis -- worth watching for future developments, but not using at present unless you need Font Reserve Server
