actually os x has a built in firewall that does wonders, and you can get a utility called "little snitch" for programs to ask for permission t access net, works just like zone alarm does, allow once, alawys allow this app, port specific settings, the works. i highly recommend zone alarm for windows and little snitch for mac os x

maybe becoz mac users do have a look across the fence sometimes. Most Widows users still seem unaware of the fact that outside Nutbush City Limit a better world can be discovered. Duh.
