i may be retarded, but where do i find my home computers url address so i can listen to my library at work?
and i assume that my home puter has to be on to access its library, but what if its in sleep mode?

you are in fact retarded. your computer can't be asleep. duh, it's practically shut off when asleep. and you can connect to your home computer if you know its IP address. this is like basic Internet knowledge. every computer gets an IP address, like a phone number. If you want to give it a name, go to one of those free domain-naming services like dyndns.org which will allow you to give your IP address a name so you don't have to remember the address. Only problem is, your IP address can change, but they have tools out there to automatically update the name with the new address.
