Download from the website works for me.
This is a great app! Couldn't really use Safari without it!

BTW: You can find that pesky "picture not found"-image at /System/Library/Frameworks/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/Resources/missing_image.tiff

Simply rename it to get rid of it. Or replace it with your own.
