I've also had many of the previously stated issues. Successful initial connection to AIM, sporatic import of contact list, followed by disconnection from service, and subsequent inability to access my account through any AIM client (even after waiting through the supposed 10 minute ban period).
Also had issues with my settings not saving correctly, constantly reverts some (not all) of my preferences back to the defaults and sets the list window back to it's initial size/location.
Finally, I get hung up at the registration window (which is not an "occasional" popup, it happens every launch of the app) for 6-8 seconds, and I cannot Quit the application without getting the BBoD.
I have not had much luck with any fixes found in the Proteus forums (http://www.indigofield.com/forums/).
I am reserving judgement on my rating of this app until an updated version arrives... this one is not for public consumption.
