I just installed and played with this for a while. Seems pretty nice to me. I can live with the dock restarting... that bugger needs a little kicking around every once in a while if you ask me (and it certainly doesn't hurt anything as far as I know). I don't know what's up with Acrappa's Mac, but my discs eject immediately when dragged off the dock and the desktop images of the disks also disappear immediately. So far, not one complaint, though I don't really see much use for this without being able to browse the contents of the disk - except that it provides somewhat handy access to removable disk eject. But it is free and the author should be applauded for his work so far. Well done.

Not a pretty solution here, but you can browse mounted volumes from the dock by dragging "Volumes" folder to the dock. Go to finder and press command-shift-g. Then type /Volumes. Drag that folder to the Dock.Sunday, June 22 2003 @ 06:43 PM PDT
