Internet Explorer has the bragging rights of being the most popular browser on the web, mainly because that's what comes bundled with the OS (both on Windows and Mac OS X). Internet Explorer also is the most compatible browser on the market, again, mainly because it's the most popular and thus web devoplers target audience. Does that mean it's good? Not necessarily. While it has become easier to use, it is still rather buggy and missing alot of features that other browsers have which some would consider to be basic features. All in all, Microsoft has the advantage of being on everyones machine (unless they delete it). Thankfully this piece of software is free, because there's not enough value to compell me to pay for it. Am I disapponted that this will be the last version? Not with such browsers as Apple's own Safari, Mozilla, Camino and OmniWeb eager to fill the needs of the net surfer. Sorry IE, you won't be missed.

Think beyond the browser. Information delivered when and where you need it, but at your request. It's already happening and it'll get bigger. We're turning a corner and there'll be more to discuss beyond it...
