Are all these great 5 star ratings below just shameless hype from company lackeys?? I agree with the_proton. Oops- Guess what? the_Proton's negative review mysteriously disappeared. (I'm thinking SD is getting greedy and evil)

The comments that mysteriously dissapear will mysteriously reappear if you click on "View All" :-) If that's not the one you're referring to, there's also the possibility that the comments were deleted by the person who posted them in the first place. While I find it suspicious that there are so many 5-star reviews by people who have never before posted a review, I actually find it stupid that people will post 1-star reviews of the software. Regardless of what people may think of YazSoft and their practices, the software clearly does not deserve 1-star ratings.
Anyway, I think that anyone interested in the software will download it, try it, and form their own opinions, regardless of the number of stars the software has. I wonder why people don't rate the software for what it is, given that they can now post their ratings for price, support, etc., sepparately. BTW, I enjoyed reading the article posted by the_proton, and I will keep on using Speed Download. I think it's up to the users, in part, to use the software responsibly.
