"Extension Overload" has just caused me the absolute worst crash I've had in recent memory.

All I did was run the Extension Overload application, looked up three extensions in its database and try to quit. My machine was frozen so bad that it did not respond to an attempted force quit nor to Control-Command-Powerkey. I literally had to restart by holding the power switch on the computer itself. Nasty.

My advice to others is to stay away from "Extension Overload".

I should add that my Mac OS 9.2.2 system has been rock solid for a long time now.

I don't know what Extension Overload does, but if the application is as badly written as its ReadMe file, its Manual and its database descriptions, I shouldn't be surprised that it crashed so badly.
