The funniest thing about acquisition is when you try to register it with an acquired user name and password a pop up message comes up saying how disappointed they are that you would use a fake code. Isn't the whole purpose of acquisition is to steel music and software? Who are they kidding? It reminds me of a line in Casino when the Boss finds out that the guys in the casino are skimming off the top; “What's the point of skimming off the top if we’re being skimmed? It defeats it's own purpose”

Limewire asks you to pay too, so I don't think he is doing anything strange. And as a previous poster said, you don't have to. Registering this does not unlock any otherwise hidden features, it only makes the nag messages disappear.
