...PHP scripts are not stealable in the same way as HTMl code because by the time you see a PHP page on the web, it has already been processed into HTML code. So what is the point of 'obfuscating' it?

It is very important to be able to encrypt or obfuscate your PHP code. As a PHP developer, I develop internet applications for my clients and for myself. When I must hand over the source code to the client/buyer for placement onto the client's/buyer's server, the client or buyer must have and will have access to all of my code. This can easily lead to theft of work, ideas, and protected/personal code. By obfuscating your code, you greatly reduce the chance that someone might steal or copy your code. I for one am very interested in this software.Reply to This
