Product Platform: MacOS,MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

I have a G4/733 tower.

I checked "top" in Terminal while running first iTunes 4.0, and then Air Whisper 1.3.

iTunes- averaged about 9% CPU
Air Whisper- averaged about 7% CPU

I was looking for something more like 3%, lol. Anyone know of a command-line mp3 player? ;) (I guess I'm just hardcore like dat)

I found a command-line mp3 player! "mpg123".

It uses 5% cpu on my G4/733. I guess that's the lowest I can get ;) There are also a couple of front-ends for it which conceivably also use little CPU.
