I downloaded Page Sender this morning, went through the setup process, and couldn't get it to work. Mind you, this is a Sunday - not a usual day for tech support. I sent an email to Smile Software Support (makers of Page Sender), and they replied almost instantly. We had a six message back and forth email exchange over a couple hours, and they did indeed help me find the problem, which was on my end. The program now works perfectly, and is very easy to use. Turns out the problem was that my computer is connected via DSL, so the phone line doesn't go direct to the computer - have to unplug the phone and attach it directly to send a fax. The tech support person has given me a suggestion for a permanent solution, but in the meantime, I now know how to work around it, using the capability of the program to notify me via email when I receive a fax, and change over as needed to send one.
