While I enjoyed the initial novelty of listening to other people's iTunes libraries over the internet, I always had "dropouts" every couple of minutes which made listening frustrating (this is on a decent broadband connection 50-60KB/sec). Not everyone's music was to my taste either.
Sharing works perfectly over my wireless home network, it's great to choose from and listen to my own music collection in the garden on my iBook. And the tunes always suit my taste, after all I bought them in the first place!
Fantastic software, beautifully intuitive, free and great fun too (I never realised how many songs I had with "love" in the title...)
I've allowed space for one more star which I'll add when the cover art downloads automatically and songs and artists link straight to online info.

No internet sharing - no big deal - Stormchild
I simply disagree. While I too experienced some dropouts when trying to listen to other users' iTunes libraries, I have found it works perfectly, all the time, when accessing my own library on my home computer from my laptop. I'm currently in a different city, listening to music from my 35 GB iTunes library back at home. What a cool feature! And now it's been taken away. I don't see how that's "no big deal" -- maybe you just haven't had the experience of it working properly and don't understand the benefits of it.Reply to This
