Nisus Writer has been my favorite wp for years, but this ain't anything like it. It's barely any further along than Okito Composer (from which this is derived) was this time last year - and where are all the features that were promised by Okito before they were taken over?
There's no tables, no auto updating date fields, no auto expansion/auto correction - in fact very little that would recommend this over TextEdit even if it were freeware!
And now a Nisus employee on the Nisus official mailing list says that NW Express is pretty much feature complete and they're just working on optimisations. It'll be at least another year before we see a proper Nisus Writer for OS X. Well, sorry guys, but this ain't nearly good enough. Mellel, Mariner Write, Appleworks - hell even Letterworks - walk all over express for the same - or considerably less - dough. If other small software developers can do it, why can't you?
Sorry, Nisus but you just lost a customer - I need a word processor with a few simple but essential features that I can standardise on (I'm a heavy wp user - several hundred pages a week), and I can't wait yet another year for it - your current offering is of ZERO use to me and I don't have classic installed; Word's too flaky, so I guess it's over to Mariner Write.
