OK, I tried this program out because it said it actually syncronizes preventing duplicates. Well, what did it do, it duplicated 393 songs in my iTunes library. Of no use to me! Can someone tell me an easy way to delete duplicate songs in iTunes? I would really appreciate it. I would hate to have to go through each one.

You can download Apple Scripts and install it in your iTunes application. Go to http://www.apple.com/applescript/itunes/ to download the Scripts. It comes with instructions. Unfortunately no script for duplicate removal. Pehaps you can write one. There are many useful scripts here to use though and they work.

Thanks for the input. It got me thinking, so I did a search for iTunes Scripts on the web and found this page http://www.malcolmadams.com/itunes/.

It had what I needed. A whole lot of good scripts there.

Regards,
