Since I have installed the xlr8 cache software with my beige g3 desktop (xlr8 g4-500 zif upgrade) i can no more activate the small menu items (date/time, pppoe, modem, monitor, sound, third party...). Anybody else with the same problem? Or just a hint to get rid of this problem? Regards, Ralph.

Menu small items no more usable. - lallmen

Hello Ralph
I have also A PowerMac G3 beige, upgraded with an XLR8 MACh Speed G4z 500 MHz, running Mac OS X 10.2.6. I do not experience the problem you mention with the small icons in the menu bar. I currently have Timbuktu, Display, Sound and Date showing. I could also add the Modem.
I do not have a better suggestion than the classic ones:-(
- repair file permissions
- use the combo installer to reinstal the system
