Despite what is said all over the website, this is not a tool for "everyone" or "beginners". It is FAR from easy to use, the interface past the first layer of eye candy defies any logic. It has no musical shortcuts/helpers (like a chord mode, etc). Recording doens't work all the time, and the loop recording is next to useless. So beside editing existing MIDI files, it's no use to write music.
The way of configuring the MIDI devices defies all logic; in fact, even after a year of having this program, I'm still unable to configure it as I'd like for my config.
There is no support for MIDI controlers, so if you have one, forget it.
The stability is also very questionable, there are crashes all over the place; even loading a seemingly simple MIDI file can crash the program.
Last but not least, despite having released their last version almost a year ago, there is no updates, no bug fixes; nothing.
Conclusion: I bough Metro SE (cheaper!), and I dumped Intuem. It was a waste of money.
