Since OS-X has been rewritten so that screenshots are only saved in PDF (so that Tinker Tool no longer allows you to choose your format), a gadget like this is extremely handy. It works as advertised, and the price is very reasonable. I hope that in a future version the author will be able to add the option of saving as GIF format, but at the moment I understand that the license fee for GIF is prohibitively expensive.
