Why does the installer need administrator privileges? Any user should be able to install this kind of product for his own use.

...any administrative use should be able to install a contextual menu?<BR><BR>Since OS X is built for users of varying privileges (for server environments such as schools) where not all users have the ability to install software, those applicatioins that do not ask for admin password before installation have been remiss in their attention to the documentation for OS X developers. You will notice that a password is needed for OS X Software Updates as well.
