Shattle: I think the old UMAX Scanners are so far out of date that no one will support them - sorry (including windows XP!) I pitched my UMAX 1200 over a year ago and got a Epson Perfection 1650 - GREAT Scanner, supported by VuScan and I think you can pick a perfection up for as little at $70.00 in some places.
