Ever so cool... Works great... No problem driving 3 Slimp3s along with 6 Tivo2s all streaming from one beige G3... Nice control interface~

Hey SPI...master... How are you serving the SliMP3 Perl Server on a Beige G3? Is it OS X? If so, how much ram and how well does it run?

How do you serve on a beige G3? - SPI...master...

Yup...I'm running OSX on a 333MHz G3 with 448 meg of RAM...runs just fine. I used XPostFacto to install it back at 10.1 and haven't looked back since. This is my oldest machine running X though, and I don't use it for anything else but serving iTunes and Pictures to Tivo's and Slimp3s.
