Product Platform:

Used Product For: Unspecified

It may not be the fastest or prettiest browser for the Mac, but it is stable and will render most web pages without problems. The others mentioned above cannot properly render a good many pages on the web and until they improve in this department, they're not ready for prime time.

Chicken and egg question - Jeff Mincey

In many cases (though not all) the reason web sites don't render properly on other browsers is precisely because the vast majority of the people use IE. It's only when more people begin supporting other browsers in significant numbers that web site developers will begin to wake up and developer only to open standards and not to any proprietary technology or protocol used only by IE. Nothing would please Microsoft more than the destruction of the platform independence of the web so that all net users will have to use Microsoft products for access. So I suspect you are in for a long wait.
