It still doesn't work with Perl 5.8, and the release notes make no mention of this. But I asked about this in the Fink Commander comments and was told a workaround is described at 'http://archive.develooper.com/macosx@perl.org/msg02447.html'. I tried the workaround, but it didn't work (I got the same seven undefined symbols over and over again, then finally a 'Failed: compiling storable-pm-1.0.14-1 failed' message.
