i bought a 8500 mac edition through ati's trade up program, dont waste your time, i saved like 10 dollars, then i lost 40 of it through a phone bill when the 8500 wouldn't out perform or in some cases did worse then the 32 mb ati card i had in there (mind you this is all AGP, *scoff*) so i returned the card got my *cough* 200 bucks back an figured, hey, maybe this is just the 8500 card, so i bought a 9000 pro card, same - exact - problems. im running a dual g4 450Mhz so bandwidth shoudn't be a problem, i had so much trouble with ati the first time that im just keeping the 9000 card in a box on my floor, it gets better performance from there anyway ; ) go nvidia.
