Everyone has the capability for perfect pitch recognition. Studies have been done on this, especially relating to east asians cultures that use the pitch of words to change thier meaning. While there is no absolute proof that perfect pitch can be learned after adolescence, it is generally agreed that it is ineed possible with practice. Further, up through the early teen years, children can learn perfect pitch extremely quickly--similar to linguistic education.
