I just purchased Amadeus. I had been trying to use DeckDV (came with my FCP), but found the interface way too much for my needs (beginner wanting to go intermediate audio user). The function that lets you save and export the marked selections is a wonderful time saver for extracting individual songs out of recordings of vinyl LPs. I also got a nice tip from the developer about how to help reduce/eliminate hum that had creeped into a couple of my recordings. I've found the developer very quick to respond to my beginner's questions. This is such a fine piece of software and for many people it would be exactly what they need.
