luhmann - there's a lot of overlap with the character palette, though this is intended to be more font oriented, and will be developing into a solutin for printing typebooks and looking at fonts that aren't installed. I'm afraid I don't understand your comments about font size... if you choose a single character and set the grid size (bottom left corner) to 1x1 or 2x2 then the characters in the grid will be over 100pts ... several inches long!
