Toast works perfectly fine for me. I have wasted literally dozens of cds with iTunes, but only two with Toast. I use Mac OS X, and this outperforms the built-in cd burning support in every way imaginable. Version 5.2 will crashes repeatedly on my G4, I am stuck using 5.1.4 at the momnet. Nevertheless, this is a wonderful utility and I will continue to use it for all my CD burning needs. (Interesting side note: burning an mp3 cd works better when using standard data cd rather that the mp3 cd option. Weird.) And no, Toast cannot make a bootable OSX cd. Use another program, such as Carbon Copy Cloner to make a "blessed" system folder on a disc image, and then burn the image from Toast.
