Works exactly as advertised, in the background, without so much as a hiccup. Once you set it, you can truly forget it (assuming you have followed the initial set-up instructions). Well worth the cost of the household license I got. I keep a variance of named external HDs (firewire drives) with a specific shedule, and it just plain works like I want it to.
