With OS 9.2.2 I hear a lot of pops while I play DVD's, however if I bring the DVD player as the background application while playing the DVD I don't hear the pops. Also, when I click and I hear the alert sound, it is usually accompanied by a single pop. Someone mentioned earlier glitches, are you referring to the pops I hear as glitches? or is it something else. OS X DVD player doesn't have any pops, only when the alert sound plays, it is much better with Jaguar. Sometimes it forgets the configuration and I have to reset it again with either Operating System.
