I'm very impressed tooling around with this app. A lot of things have come a long way since I last checked in: Multi-file search/replace seems quite good now, just slightly behind bbedit. There are a number of areas that I feel WebDesign beats BBEdit: visual table editor, excellent tag attributes table, better CSS support, a Site Manager. I've never liked the idea of an ftp client built in to a text editor (especially when there are clients like Transmit out there), but I couldn't get WebDesign's to connect anyway. I also feel they have a ways to go on syntax coloring (// and # not recognized as comments in PHP, etc). Considering the price tag of BBEdit these days ($179!), WebDesign might be a first choice for a large percentage of developers, or it might be used in connection with BBedit. Some features it could really use: Find Differences & tag completion. I also very much miss the 3 paned interface of Homesite (pc). I'm going to give this 5 stars to balance out Irish's 2 star rating as it seems he rated the app based on screenshots (?!). I believe this is a solid 4 star app.
