You have to "Wake" the other computer to access the other computer without the 256 colors message. This is something that Apple needs to fix as it is not obvious, i.e. a screen that is asleep is not set to 256 colors... This software works reasonably well on fast machines but is a bit crash happy and needs a few bug fixes, speed improvements and feature enhancements to make it more worthwhile than Timbuktu Pro such that I don't have to use T2P anymore. The user interface is better than T2P though.
