java=gross. i dont know how they expect a new im service to compete with aim, etc. i prefer the integration brought to me by apple.

If Apple had an IM client that was compatible with a Windows video conferencing app then I would agree with you. As it is you can't have voice chat with a Windows user without going to extreme lengths, since the most common IM clients that can do voice and video chat (Yahoo and Netmeeting) don't work on Mac. The Yahoo Messenger program will do video on Mac, but no audio. You can get audio apps like Mac2Phone, but then you are looking at two apps to do what one should be able to do. If this app can do decent video conferencing then who cares what it looks like....
