To answer your question, blee: Yes. While Jaguar's built-in SMB capabilities are great for most, there are exceptions. My school uses mostly Win2k Servers but there is one machine that is a Netappliance Filer. It uses some non-standard or proprietary disk format and login system which makes it impossible for Mac users (Jaguar) to log on. The ONLY way I can access this server is through the use of Dave and I commend Thursby for continuing development instead of opting out and leaving SMB and CIFS to Apple. Now if only I could Winpop other users again...
