I've used DD ever since X.1. It has been stable (though, drawers have had to be re-opened, but it works across different users - like root), anyway. I have been using it as a launcher. There is a LOT of depth in this application. This and Path Finder are my GUI(and TinkerTool to make the Dock behave).
