It could have been good. But now it has well and truly dropped the ball. On OSX, Safari has just taken over its niche as the 'speedy browser', with more functionality in its public beta than iCab ever had; on OS9, even the bloated behemoth of Mozilla (with the proper theme) offers a more enjoyable browsing experience. I guess it's still useful for anyone with a 68K machine, but you have to give up stone axes and flints sometime.
