Lasso 6 is really quite solid. If you haven't tried it (especially lately) don't knock it. Yeah $1199 is steep, but it is tough to get as complete a deployment (database + server + cross platform compatibility) package or find an extremely well documented development language for the same price. And all without the headaches. It's easy to use, fast, and CAN handle seriousl loads. Try it. Minus 1 star for the high price.
