Its not the designers or too much content that we are talking about. I use both a new IBM think pad win 2000 and a new G4 dual 867 OS 10.2.2 tons of RAM in both. Both the Flash player and the application run a lot slower then they should on the G4 while most other programs are equal. Director MX is the first of the MX line that appears to be optimized for new Macs and OSX. If you work with Flash everyday like I do you notice the lag time in the Mac versions. Publishing the same files takes twice aslong on my G4.
