Contrary to so many users, I have always found Fetch unstable, both as an OS9 app and now as OS X - for me, version 4.0.2 refuses to transfer any files longer than about 15k ('transfer aborted - insufficient memory or file locked'); it bombs out from time to time; it won't remember the default FTP site; indeed, it won't save the details of any newly entered FTP site; it has wasted my time. If these are all Jaguar problems, or AirPort problems, the website and help files are suspiciously silent. Yuck. Looks like I'd better try a different FTP client.
