Having just compared a new one of these types of utilities, this one beats it hands down. The CPU usage was pretty equivalent during net activity. The other had a gigantic window whereas this is unobtrusive, transparent, resizable and click-thru. The precision of Net Monitor, down to 0.1 secs is awesome. I also like the connect via menu bar and the floating remote and local IP box. I already rated it five stars...too bad I can't again. I too would purchase a license without a moment's hesitation having used it for a few months.
