Well that was comical. I'll rate this when I can review it. I tried installing, but it gave me privileges errors and then didn't install. I tried again, and libraries were missing, so I read the note about the MS Component Plugin (I was mucking about with file ownerships and the Disk Utility). I copied that from the original CD, but still no joy. Then, being the bright guy that I am, I decided to re-install SR-1. This trashed all of my programs. Ooops. So now I'm reinstalling from scratch. Pretty funny, eh?
