DiskWarrior has saved my bacon countless times. The other day I got the dreaded blinking question mark. Upon booting Norton Disk Doctor 5, I was told the disk needed to be initialized (I clicked Cancel). I ran NDD 5 and fixed everything until it said the disk couldn't be repaired and would I like to run Volume Recover or Unerase. I decided to undo the repairs instead. Then I booted on DiskWarrior and it reconstructed the drive perfectly!
