Hey, I have some ideas and I'm not even close to a genius: When I go to About Mozilla the version is listed as "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020824". Is something wrong with 1.1fc4, which the site I downloaded it from claimed? Get Info just returns "1.1". Are there not different flavors of 1.1? If you have to struggle to make something obvious, perhaps you should be writing IQ tests rather than software. Or, if I want to open many browser windows rather than tabs, what's so appallingly wrong with having them open at the first available slot at the top of my screen, and go down from there? As it is, they start below and keep cascading ever downward to the bottom, and when they get there they just shrink in size. If I close all the windows in an attempt to fix this, the first window I open will not start at the top. It will open where the last open window was. Comm. 4.79 and 4.8.0 handle this. (I don't like to move windows manually since they are set to stagger upon opening.) My version crashes without fail at an admittedly suspect chat room, but then so do Comm. 4.8.0 and IE 5.1.5. Even though promising Mozilla loads pages fast on my hardware, and I really do like tabs, I think 4.79 is still my first choice for now.
