I'll have to try the X version. I loved the old version. It's by far the best newsreader for following disscussions, but it's not ideal for downloading binary attachments. The multiple news server feature is not especially smooth either. I would love to see more AppleScript support so that I can automate archiving articles. Right now, scripts can't access the database nor dispose of articles.
